I sold my QC about a year ago, and the guy I sold it to wrecked it. I almost bought it back from the insurance company for $8500 just as it is in the pics. The driver side wasnt damaged. they did total it though. Body shop had a bunch of stuff off the truck so the adjuster could see what all was damaged. I couldnt keep a clean title, or I was gonna buy it back. I almost bought it anyway!!! Maybe I should have. It would have run about $8000 to repair it taking every shortcut in the book and still have it look OK. I just hate fixing stuff.

Good decision not to buy it back. You would be into it for more than you could sell it for with the salvage title.

Hey Robert...

You got the VIN to your old truck so I can mark it off on the Master List as a possible RIP

Jeff

Sucks those seats will be trashed sitting out there like that. Was this a recent opportunity ?

This was a month or so ago, guys the trucks frame was perfect it was all sheet metal damage, he lost it in gainsvile, TX in the rain and took a trip down a guardrail. The truck was totalled & sent to Insurance Auto Auction. $7000 and that truck would have been fixed I double guarantee you, I would have been in it about 16 grand tops, but that dang salv title hurts the value about 30 to 40%. Truck had 52k miles on it too.

OH it was just rolled outside, they didnt just leave the seats like that. The body shop bolted the damaged doors back on and everything. It was all sealed up before it went to auction.

I certainly can, but I'll need to dig it up. I have sold probably 50 or more SRT10 Ram's over the past few years. YOu want me to get all the VIN's. I can even get you mileage & colors, date sold, etc.

Absolutely

and Thank You very much

Jeff

Reminder to all of us: When you find an SRT 10, even wrecked ones, get the serial # so they can start to be tracked.

Is it at a salvage now. I'm interested in it buying the whole truck.

Unless you have a salvage dealers license you dont have access to it. IAA has it, um Insurance auto auctions and Co-Part receive every single vehicle written off as a total loss. They sell at auction to anyone with a salvage dealer license. I guarantee a rebuilder will buy it and fix it, get the title reconditioned, and sell it with a recon title. they prob wont even fix it right as most of these guys these days are from overseas and dont understand anything about fixing vehicles right. When it ends up for sale it will almost certainly have a normal ram front bumper, normal ram hood, etc. I was gonna buy it for $9000 as is with a clean title to keep for myself. I never buy recon titles to resell because I amextremely picky about the quality of my inventory. I had the deal all set up to buy it back from Gieco, but then they told me they could'nt just give me the blue title. They had to have the title reissued as salvage so I changed my mind. I prolly should have bought it, and then I could have put the turbo powertain in it, and sold my RC. Oh well hind sights a 20/20
