ok i have make up my mind, im going to mod my truck with jmb cold air intake which include oil catch can, x-metal lowering kit w. 1" in front and 2" in rear and add x-metal cal-trac. I am going get T-170 cooling from x-metal to keep my engine cooler. thats it for now, im still looking for pcm/flash but couldnt find any good maybe x-metal have some. I know it will cost a lot of $ but take time any new add i will post pix thanks man! any opinion? bring them on

glad to see you made it from the other side,,,,,,,,,,,,,I got my PCM from DC performance

thanks man! yeah? but i still am not sure what is the different between pcm and flash?

What they do is take your pcm(computer) then flash it with a different program,

both Gary's (x-metal) and DC performances are great, especially for the QC's

RC's dont see quit the gain the QC's do.

i would, you will still see a big difference i believe guys are saying around 30 more rwhp, it canges shift points , rev lemiter, kicks the fan on sooner and leans out the motor

hmmm, i am thinking about dcperformance because they seems have one for excalty ram srt10, not just viper srt10?

He's got a RC. Shift points are not an issue.

......... with a stock shifter, they'll be some issues.

Quick

what do you mean? I just ordered mine from dc and they did not say any thing about being a issue for my stock shifter.

They bump up the redline so you can shift at 5250 instead of 5000 I think. Because of the extra rpms it makes it that much harder to shift, with a stock shifter the problem is magnified.

The "issues" or "problems" with a stock shifter have to do with it's design, not the PCM flash.More mods lead to more and more aggressive driving (translated : "banging gears/speed shifting" ) and you will quickly find the limitations and weaknesses of the stock shifter. Most times it will feel like third gear has disappeared when trying to hit it hard and fast from second,or you will hit 5th,OR , the worst , you will hit 1st ! All the mods in the world won't help you run quicker if you can't shift quickly.So.........................buy an X-Metal Gen 4 shifter.

ouch, hit 1st from second sound horrible, i dont want that happened to me! can u post some pic of x-metal gen 4 shifter, i want to see what it look like and what price? maybe i want to get one to avoid hit 1st from second! haha
