My Race Tonight

The guy I was suppose to race didn't show up tonight so we moved on to the next. We upped the spray to the 300 shot did a little more with the progressive. The car I raced was a 1967 ls3 turbo camaro. Makes around 650 to the tire. I dead hooked out of the hole and pulled on him 4-5 lengths he said. As soon as I shifted into 3rd gear I heard a huge bang and got out of it. As he started to catch me I tried getting back in it but it went no where.

So i popped the hood to find the cold air intake blew off

I already called him out for next weekend. I just have to find a way to keep the intake on. We had a problem when we sprayed 200. Now that we're spraying 300 it's back

What kind of clamp are you using? In my experience with high boost or spray cars I use t-bolts on everything.

Big Sexy Hairspray on hose and TB then slide it on and tighten clamp.
