My Snakebite Custom Exhaust (with soundclips & photos)

Well first I want to thank Scott (VENOMOUS1 RACING) for this great setup. He shipped it out to me in Canada and I had it in just over a week. I am fortunate to have a friend in our car club who works at a muffler shop here in town, so he was able to put it all together for me.

My truck has a K&N drop in filter and a custom tune. Other than that mechanically it is stock.

We cut the back two cats off and built a 3" exhaust from the cats back using Scott's two mufflers and x pipe. I have not thrown any codes and my gas mileage has gotten a little better since the install.

The inside of the truck is much louder than before but still not too loud (you can still have a conversation).

Awesome man. I really cant wait till i can order my mufflers and x pipe. You know what else made a huge difference in the sound?, was changing out that air box and drop in filter to a K&N open round filter. Hearing that motor breath now is just awesome.

Sounds good man. And Privates right, get an intake, you'll love the sound. If you learn how to let off throttle at a certain point it almost sounds boosted…either that or my motors about to explode. Im voting for the ladder. Either way, Scott has an awesome product and Im glad it turned out so good :rock:

Ill say this I went with side exhaust no cats and never thru a code, I didn't even get a tune until last weekend never had a code. I'm glad we got another great sounding truck out their especially in Canada

The mufflers are from V1 Racing and dubbed the "Snakebite" muffler. Glad to hear you like it too:burnout:

They are 3" and we bored out the stock tips so everything is now 3" from the cats back.

What exactly dis it run you to have it custom built? I know it will vary with shop but i plan the same thing in a few months and want to get a ball park on what ill spend. Looks and sounds awesome! Snakebites ftw on mufflers/exhaust in general!
