About 2 months ago he asked if he could use the SRT-10 to take his girlfriend to the prom. I said that he would have to be on the honor role to even think about it.
Well guess what, he made the honor role, so I said OK.
Trust me I am VERY protective of my truck, but I found out Alex (my wonderful wife) is even more protective than I am. She told him if he damaged it she would kill him before I could get to him.
Well to make a long story short, he took it. And there is no damage done to it.
I have to thank God, because I have a truly wonderful son.
Bill.

My daughter also went to the prom in my "10". Here's a quote from one of my other posts on how that went down...
BTW, She wants to take the "10" to prom! Went something like this.....Dad can I take it?NO.
But I'll be careful.
NO.
But Mom said you would probably let me.
Mom's wrong.
OK, what if you follow me the whole time? Ding! Ding! we have a winner!:knuddel:
I did follow her to pick up her date (to go over the RULES with Jr.) but then she was on her own. GOOD KID!

hI dAD, CAN i DRIVE YOUR cOBRA, TOO :dontknow:  i'LL LET YOU DRIVE MY TRUCKSilverback said:First off, congratulations to Will for his graduation and making the honor roll.:congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats:
My daughter was allowed to drive my truck when I had it, and she is welcome to drive the Cobra is she so desires. She understands the care I take of my vehicles and knows to treat them with respect.
In regard to the Cobra, she is afraid of it and while she would like to drive it, will not. Got to give her credit for having the brains to know when she might be over her head.
Once again Will, congratulations. And to Bill, good job in raising your son.:congrats:
