My truck has been recently doing it's own thing. I installed a MEtra Axxcess harness for the Infinity radio system. After the install when I would turn off the truck and remove the key, the door chime acted as is the lights were left on and would "bing" "bing" "bing" real fast. On top of that when I went to lock the truck with factory alarm the horn would not sound for about 20 seconds after the truck was off although the doors would lock.....:dontknow: :dontknow:
I assumed my problem was the harness....but it didn't really bother me too much so I let it go for about a week....

Then I got my HID's put in and they worked fine with no problem for over 3 days during day and night for at least 10-12 hours of use. Then just last night I come home and put my turn signal on, and the bulb acted like it's out,and blinked fast. About the same time I turned the corner my a/c started going in and out fast "on,off, on, off"....also my headlights lights automatically turned on with the signal blinking although both were off......
Both installs were professional and both were exact items that many of you use.:argh: :argh: :argh:
I am basically, at this point, thinking this has a lot to do with the radio wire harness and it may be defective:dontknow:

Anyone else notice anything crazy like this or anything electrical with their truck?? Is this a common problem?? Lastly, any suggestions???

Yea I feel like it's possessed......I disconnected the battery for over an hour now hoping that helps???

Take it back to who installed the harness, and insist on makin it right.....and this kinda stuff is

It's hooked up correct...I even contacted metra the and they said it sounds like a defective unit b/c they never had a car chime like the lights were on when the door was open...Said it was rare to be defective but it happens?

i would removed or isolate the accessories you added for now and see if the promblem persists. If it stops then its obvious that one of the accessories is causing a promblem. If it continues I think you might have a faulty instrument cluster module. A few folks have had issues with these.
