Anyone here right now? We came down for the weekend.

I'll go buy a boogy board, and see you in a week.:D

Where ya stayin'? I'll be right there. I'll meet you at Tripp's at "Broadway at the Beach". Oh man nevermind. It's bikeweek down there now. Your not gonna get much sleep this weekend.

I was there last weekend.WAY too many people there during the second weekend of "Bike Week" for me.I have only missed once since I started going to it.There is a red RC with a "For Sale" sign in it on 17/King's HWY,but I don't remember exactly where.

Hope you have a good time !

Actually, contrary to popular belief, bike week is a perfect time for families. First, the beach is bare, because all those people are out riding. So basically, you have the beach to yourself. Second, most bikers eat around 8:00 at night. With my two young girls, we typically eat around 4:30 - 5:00; we were the first customers at the Flamingo Grill. Third, since most stay out so late, they don't get up early for breakfast. So again, we have the restaurants to ourselves.

Heading back this morning. Have to hurry up and wash this saltwater off the truck.

When I lived in Florida, I hated those things. You have to get them off your vehicle immediately because their splat eats the paint.

Naaa, nothing that sappy. Myrtle Beach got it's name from all the Wax Myrtle trees that grow in the area. One of the towns founders wife came up with the name. The reason I know this is I sat through a timeshare presentation (wife dragged me kicking and screaming to it) that started with it's history. That's as far as I made it. Slept through the rest of it.

Seems every year I get people pestering me to go to those "free presentations".

I hope to go back in mid-October for the fall bike week, just before Bike-toberfest in Daytona

Thats the one thing I dont miss about Florida!;)

But I do miss my Homieez....and Hawaii doesnt have many SRT-10s that like to hang out. :(

I would trade Love Bugz for Hawaii anytime....I hate permanent Vacations.;) :D
