Nascar Driving Experience....who's done it? Where to sign up?

I've always wanted to do a 1/2 day at some nascar driving experience outfit. Anyone done it? Where did you do it and what were your impressions?

I'd love to do it in Homestead, but did some searching online and the only thing I could find was an upcoming one in New Smyrna in Feb. Anyone interested in that if I decide to do it? I think its about 400 bucks.

I know someone who did it at California Speedway, but that is out of your neck of the woods. Good luck.

My son did it in Dallas a couple of years ago - had a blast. It was waaaayyy too expensive for my taste and money, but if you've got the dough, go for it.

A friend of mine did it a couple years ago in Vegas. Loved it, and thought it was worth every penny.

I bought my Dad a race session at Darlington, SC - it was 8 laps - he was so happy!!
I wish I could get to take him again! he is fighting cancer now.

I did it at Daytona - Super 18 or somehthing like that they called it, what a joy to go around that banks of daytona in a full stock car. 152mph was my top speed but many people say that the Richard Petty Driving school lies about how faast you are truly going. I still had fun, no doubt a good time will be had.

I haven't done it but my neighbor did the Richard Petty driving experience here in St. Louis. Funny thing was that I took him for a ride in my truck the same day that he did the driving experience. He swears up and down that my truck pulls harder than the track cars did at the driving experience. :burnout:

He was flabbergasted. :rock:

Did the Dale Jarrett ride along at Talledega, would do it again in a heartbeat
it was awesome. Really want to do the driving experience.
