Bummer, huh.....?

Growing up in SoCal in the late 40's early 50's, we got rain so hard that the water came halfway up into the front yard and nearly to the porch...... It'd rain so hard for so long that you'd wish you'd bought a frickin' boat....

I miss those days.........:(

Those are some good pics. Good catch on the lightning.

A good friend of mine is a crew chief on A10s and is stationed in Tucson. Poor guy is currently in Korea for a year without the family. His wife and two children are currently in Tucson without him and I know its hard on all of them. Is this normal weather there?

Okay, here it is, mid July, and the weather report has been talking about the F*cking snow level in the mountains. Snow level in July.

Sure, it's 8000 feet, but still.

Damn I hate this place.

Right now yes its normal. Its called Monsoon Season. My neighbors husband is a Staff SGT in Marine Core. He is still overseas. Been there for a few years now.

Nice pics!!

But, that's not a bad storm...

Give me a few minutes, I took some video of a thunderstorm we had here the day before yesterday!!

45 mph winds, and HAIL!!

I love storms like that. I miss the sound of thunderstorms......we dont get too many of them here. We have the remanents of Hurricane Cosmoe coming through the islands this weekend...........we are all happy to get some rain as we have been in a drought all year.......lots of brushfires this year.

Where's that vid Ntwork?

I sure as hell do not miss monsoon season!! Whats so nice about it being 100plus degress and then getting a nice humid thunderstorm that floods the streets:dontknow: I am dead serious in an about a half hour the water would be over the curb and cars would be stranded everwhere due to sucking water in thru the intake... DeF DO not miss phoenix one bit
