Mikey, my man!

After talking to you on the phone this afternoon, you sounded bushed...but like you said, you had an awesome time. I finally got to read your post...the longie one, and I even shed a couple tears...and I hardly know anyone..but my feelings for you and John (who are quite close to me) I am sure that the rest of the gang ..and yes even Wifey-dudette are of similar calibre! Although I don't get on the site too often, I do at times read the posts and get a kick out of what everyone here says.
anyway not to get too mushy...I am glad that you had a chance of a life time to meet everyone and I am glad that you just had one hell of a GREAT time.

lova ya Mikey.....damn, the wife is asking "are you ok? why are ya tearing up...

In response to the other subject we were talking about, remember this:

He who makes haste decisions upon snapshot situations, will eventually lose his negative and his camera.

You are a poet and don`t know it D-Man!:D

before the srt forum come out, i would haver thought that there would be away for me to make friends with a group of folks that have so much compassion, humanity, commonality, and a zest for life , that made want to be a better person~ just to be more like them. How did i get so lucky?
some , people make accauintances at get togethers, but with this group, its much deeper than that.
i cant express into words the gratitude, respect and love i have for these folks-its unfathonable how deep it goes. i just didnt ever think that i could meet these great people-----all steming from a truck!
i am so gratefull that you all included us, and we are better people for knowing you all.
their is a spiritual bond we have with this group, and its something we will take wilth us forward from here on.
i wish we had 1 more day to just sit around and say our good byes with out fealing the urge to rush out and hit the road, all just to get back to work sooner....
GodBless Indycoder, and please heal him and watch him and his family.

Guys my family and I had a great time this year at the Nats. Shellie and I were talking on the LONG ride home how such a diverse group of people can come together over a truck! My kids had a blast watching and listening to us BIG KIDS doing what we love. Doneo I am glad we got your burnout technique perfected! It was great to see you again, you are a true performance enthusiast and the Heath cruise was the best ever,Richard and Darren are going to post the video of our burnouts on here. Maybe next year the band will be better. Stinker it was great to finally meet you and Joanne, I can still hear your laugh, Dave and Dave the ride in was not too good with rain for 90 miles but we cleaned and rubbed till we got em shiny for Friday. Sapientiam good to finally meet you,Eddie you and your wife are cool down to earth people, must be the Southern thing! Mikey it was an honor to meet you, sorry I didn't hang out with you guys a whole lot but we had 12 in our group and spent time working on 2 of the cars, rounding up parts, and just doing the MOPAR thing. Tom good to see you again this year your truck is still killer looking, NBT good to meet you and glad you were there to take charge of Phil's well being, Gary good to see you and Rachel again this year, Bill I guess I missed you this year with all we had going on.DJ nice to meet you, your truck looks killer in that color.

TAHNK YOU SIR...

Shawn and Nathan it was good to meet you also. Nathan maybe you need to practice on your racing? Just kidding, I admire you for being only 20 years old and working to pay for an SRT. There are way too many teens who want everything given to them. I know your parents must be proud.

Well everyone knows I aint much for words, but I care for evryone on the forum. It seems as though we have even made new friends acrosse the country. the times we had the past few days words cannot describe, honestly. I'm not going to go person by person, because to me all were very very special. So I will just keep it sshort. I jsut hope most came away with a different view of myself since they have met the Stink man:D What ya see is what ya get:p

Boomer glad you made it bro, dont spend too much time monday telling everyone about what happened, get back to work!!!:D

Haven't really been on today. Had some shit to do.....

Just wanted to say that it's getting downright gooey in here......a regular love fest. More power to ya... Glad everyone had such a great time at the nats and got to know each other better.

I'm really happy for Mikey and really appreciate this thread alot...

I'm gonna only be here for a few minutes...I had a long ugly day.....

All the best to those who went and have such great memories to share.

"Buy a truck, get a family FREE!"
Way better than zero percent interest. :)

As Doneo said, such a great group of people coming together (and getting along) over a 5000 lb. piece of metal is pretty rare and should be cherished. I know I do. The charity event that my friend and I put on each year has some good vibes as well, but a little different than what I experienced this past weekend.

Mikey- sorry I twitched before the hug. I'm just not used to someone of your size hugging me.
For those that haven't had the pleasure, imagine an NFL defensive lineman putting his arms around you and giving you a couple of pats on the back. :)

As I've said before, I'll be back next year. No question about it.
In my book, it's my *other* family reunion.
:D

Hey guys this is Pete....He was on the other site as well and he always attends our GTG's up here in the festering Shithole ;) He does not post a whole lot and that is a shame. The man works his arse off :D Lemme tell you all, Pete is a damn fine man and I Love him and his wife Janice a great deal. He has always been a great friend to me and my family.
I like to think that Silverback, Dallas and I are the 3 amigo's :D I thank god for people like he and his wife. Now we have another Fun2xlr8 ( Greg ) and he is good people as well....But I tell you this I am a lucky man to know Pete and Janice........I consider him umungst the best of anyone I have ever met and I treasure our time together and his sense of humor is off the charts...Pete I love You Bro...........Mikey

Everyone but Billy twitched :D But I am who I am and I like who I am :D I am a hugger and proud of it...I think I am still sporting wood from my NBT hug :ridinghorse:  LOL Damn I had the time of my life guys.....Thank you all ;) Even Bone :p :D :D :D

I can't convey what a truly great time it was. Everyone that did not make it MUST make plans for next year. Remember none of us knows just how much time we have on the planet, so take advantage of every day. I WILL be there next year to see all of you that show up, and that had better be ALL of you. West coast people should leave a week in advance.:p

Bill.
