Has anyone figured this nav system out? I have the manual and can't make it work. It doesn't show roads that are 100 years old. Can anyone help? Thx.

I concur with what everyone else has said. The navigation system in my wife's 07 SRT Jeep is about one step more advanced than an Etch-A-Sketch in my opinion. I would call it a Piece of Shit, but it's not that good.

Easy big guy........You have it pegged, they are a real POS.

Not to be the decenting vote, but the RB1 worked great for me.....

It even got me within 50 yards of Django's hidden Villa

Scott my nav doesnt even have hanahan in it. I have heard that the 06 were a lttle better

The 05 unit has had me going in circles a few times ---really stinks

Will the nav show a street map? Mine only shows the name of the street on screen and has voice prompts. My phone does better than that!

OK. This is the answer. I have installed like 2000 factory chrysler nav systems so here is a beakdown: The Garbage RB3 or whatever they call the thing in the 04 & 05 trucks is absolute GARBAGE...LITTERALLY take it out and throw it away or put it on ebay they actually sell for a couple-hundred. get a factory RB1 which is DVD based and works great. 2 years ago the RB1 was pretty awesome, but navigation has come a long way recently. RB1 is still a good one though. It uses the same software as the REC unit in the 06's. I have an adapter on mine and have a navigation MyGiG in my 06. I think they make an adapter for your 04 or 05 to make the mygig work(coastaletech.com). But the best plug and play is the RB1. I think they are on ebay for about $400. Cyall
