Does anyone know how to reset the RB4 nav radio? it is telling me i am 202 miles from home, when i am sittin in the driveway.

While re-doing your interior, did you accidently sell your nav antenna to someone? Maybe it's that far from the house. J/K:D

But seriously. You sure the antenna is plugged back in? After not having power to it for awhile. It may need to get it's bearings again.

Actually while the interior was apart, i broke down and bought the antenna. its an OEM antenna and not an aftermarket one. This radio came from dennis and was working fine. i will call dodge today and see if there is a way to reset it. last night i took the dash apart again just to make sure i plugged it in.

Mutt, did it work before the antenna install? It's almost got to be the antenna, IMHO..but then WTF do I know. When I hooked mine up the other day it functioned perfectly, so I can't help from experience. One note, there are two different antennas, one for the RB1, one for the RB4. I had both around here for a week or two and they are different, even though the dealership and other said they are the same...

My Nav system has its own Antenna,NOT the radio one !!!You've probably got another plug back in there somewhere !!!:dontknow:

many, many thanks to dennis, 6pak...he told me to disconnect the battery...30 minutes later i re-connect and the GPS is reset. once you re-connect you have to drive it for a mile or so and the GPS locates you and all is good! thanks again....i should have known, everything that goes wrong on these trucks, disconnect the battery and it resets.
