I have to let everybody know that what the folks didn't see at the Nats and the folks that couldn't make it, what an amazing individual you are..Ken took on the unfortunate tragedy of Indycoder selflessly. Ken bunked with Iz and myself and to watch him in action was a sight to be seen. His 'getter done" attitude and his experience in the emergency response and medical field was awe inspiring to witness. One instance, I woke up one morning at around 5 AM and noticed Ken was not in the room. He had gone down to the hospital about 5 blocks away and checked up on our injured friend. This was after about two hours of sleep. He had made arrangements with the help of Jack and Mrs. Sickness to get the info to his family. He was on the phone countless times talking to the hospital and Indycoders family. He never stopped until he had this resolved to his satisfaction, but you could sense from him that he still felt he could have done more. You need to hear it from me and all the people here a heart felt thankyou. I know our fireman in the world are special people, but if they have an ounce of your caring, intelligence, and drive we are in good hands.

WOW, that raises the hair on the back of my neck. WE got some awesome people around here. Thanks for sharing.

Since I have already commented on my friend NBT in other threads..I will just say this.....No finer a man have I ever known....NBT your my frickin hero Bo:D What a marvelous human being you are.....My friend for life indeed....You are awesome Kenny

Honestly...Thank You for the compliment. I am truly humbled, honored, and in one breath would help anyone of us "to the all" of my ability.

Those of you that have the ability to enjoy the best of health, happiness, and family.....savor every moment... life is too short.
I pray for Phil's recovery to a healthy state, so that he may enjoy life's many wonderful journey's.

I can assure you that this trip has once again, made me realize what an unbelieveable family of friends we have here.... tried getting it into words on a post.......but it was just not enough.

Our forum has grown into something well beyond truck talk.... and after this weekend....has hit another milestone. Many members will never look at this place the same ever again. I certainly never did after Houston.

Thank's everyone for allowing me to grow with you over the past 2 years!

I can't wait to meet up again that's for sure.

Love all of ya.

Ken

You rock and We rock, too ~!:D

Ken, Thank God for men like you that take the bull by the horns when times are rough. There are a lot of great people on this forum but you went above and beyond. Setting your vacation aside and thinking only of our fallen brother and seeing that he got the care he needed. I look forward to meeting you someday. Maybe next year at the Nats. I'm planning on being there. Big Dave

In law enforcment, they call it "Command Presence". Ken's got it, and uses it perfectly. It's a shame that we had to witness it regarding a fallen 'brother', but I wouldn't have wanted anyone else doing it if it was me that was down.

You rock, Ken.
Thanks for all your help.

(I'll call ya tomorrow AM)

Not only is Ken all that has been said about him, he is also a real blast to party with.
