A bill has been filed in the Senate that would require all NC autos to have a front license tag. A guy on a the "Heart of Carolina Mustang Club" has done some legwork putting together a Senator mailing list and a letter addressing this to persuade them to shoot this bill down. If you can, send off some letters letting them know how you feel (no front tags). Janet Cowell is the senator sponsoring the bill so a letter to her is probably wasted. Here is the link to the info on the Mustang Club.

That law is in place here I drive by cops all the time havent been pulled over for it yet. Worst case scenario I think its a $50 fee. I know Im not drilling holes in my front bumper.

The sad thing is, when it is a law in your state... the dealers do that for you. :(

I'm hoping that this will be "nipped in the bud". I can't stand the thought of putting a tag on the front. If it happens, I'll have to see how the cops in my area are about it.

its jsut another "thing" for NC to charge us for so it will probably pass, then they will bust us for a month or two to get more $ then it will be forgotten about like the seat belt law.
