Neat feature on another board...

I am a member of the Blackrock Lost Forum. They have a feature over there called the shoutbox. Its like a chat room but without the room. Here is the link... http://www.theblackrock.org/df/Shoutblock.html

Pretty cool feature. It is listed as a link on the side page and there is a section which shows where all the members are and who is in the shoutbox. Just scroll down the left side of the page.

Anyway, is this something that we would like/want and how hard would it be to add it?

We had the shoutbox on one of the forums I used to moderate and YES it does get out of hand quick. You have to keep deleting stuff out of there. It is a neat feature though.
