I know this may sound crazy but here goes. Back in the old days someone made an apparatus that fit on a windshield wiper that would pin the wiper to the windshield. It clipped on to the wiper arm and looked like ½ a pipe. In other words it caught air and forced the blade to the windshield. Obviously the reason I am needed one is at 70 mph my blade “floatâ€￾ and do not wipe the water from the windshield. Under 50 mph they work just fine. I have checked JC Whitney as well as Googled and could find nothing. Asked a bunch of auto parts stores and they have no clue. Rain-X helps but not in a driving rain. Is there a place I can get them or does anyone here have another suggestion? :dontknow:

i use the PIAA ones:rock:

Thanks for all the good advice. Found them and will install this week. As to the slowing down comment, seems you ain’t never been in Texas. :( On the freeways if you are doing the speed limit you get your but rear-ended. :( TXDOT has a survey running called the 85 percent rule. If 85% of the travelers are exceeding the speed limit at any given time then the state raised the posted limit by 5 mph. We actually have most major roads raised to 75 and some are at 85 mph. Soooooo, slowing down will not happen unless one wants to drive the family van and make the 10 a garage queen. But thanks anyway cause if I total my 10 then I know where to get a low mileage replacement. :D

which ones are they???

Just installed the Bosch wipers. just what the dr. ordered. :D thanks for the imput.

wax the front window and you won't need wipers!! water just beads off! I use Fukken wax.

Ok, you want me to stop the rain when I am in the middle of the freeway and it comes a down pour. Apparently you have more ability than I. :dontknow: Bumper to bumper at 60 -70 MPH and every lane full of folks wanting to go on spring break and I should just stop driving in the rain. Driving to work (264 miles) and it starts raining, pull over and wait for the storm to pass (in this case 2 hours). I bought my 10 to drive, not pamper and if it starts to rain I just can’t put it in the garage and wait for calmer weather. But----I can buy some great wiper blades and keep trucking. If I total my truck while in the rain then I know where I can buy another----a lot of garage queens around. PM me when yours is for sale. :D

Calm down calm down LOL. I was kidding. Mine is far from a garage queen. Feel free to view my threads
And I will be oooooooooooooold before I sell it. If I wreck it, I will have an excuse to start my vintage swap.
