ive had systems in the past and dont want to do one in my srt. but when i bought my truck the 10" sub is blown, what would be a good replacement for the factory sub an what ohm speaker is the factory.
need a little help with my sub woofer

The factory sub is wired for 4 ohm. (Dual Voice Coil)
I replaced mine with a JL Audio, and was very pleased.

this is the one i went with.....the numbers are pretty good,i like the low 30hz.
it did take a little massaging to fit in the box.(had to remove a little plastic around where the speaker sits in the box.

Are you guys saying you could leave the stock stereo alone except for changing the subwoofer.....and the system will improve substantially?
