Need a new block

05 rc motor gone, piston in pieces , if anyone knows of a used good block,heads. Will a 06 quad cab block fit 05 rc? I know there is a bolt that does not line up when converting qc to 6 speed. What modifications need to be done ?

What happened? Are you sure the block is junk?

Yea hole in piston liner and broke aluminum behind it to a water jacket,antifreeze in piston, will try to post pic

How did that happen? was the sleeve bored out? strange failure....

No sleeve was still in there. It went through the sleeve and aluminum behind it. One afternoon I notice a pinging. Parked it. Next morning I turned it on for like 4 seconds. I could hear rattling in motor turned off. Turned the engine over twice. I started to hear antifreeze burping. Motor locked, half of the piston between the crank and the block. Forged Pistons when I rebuild

What's the verge price ? Found one for 550 but idk condition then one for 2000.
