Anyone ever use a SPEC clutch?

I have never heard of anybody using a SPEC clutch. I have heard of the brand before just not with our application. We do know what does not work, RPS, McLeod, and POS stocker!

Call Dan at DC and talk with him about the ATC ones he installs. Then of course almost all of us here with aftermarket ones have the Centerforce/Fidanza ones.

Many of the big HP Viper guys use Spec clutches. I've heard good things about them but don't have any real first hand knowledge.

Ive heard good things locally about the Spec. I know most of us on this forum select the Centerforce.

I need to order tomorrow so that I can install over this weekend.

You think the TOB and the Pilot should be changed with only 6600 miles?

I read the service manual. It says NOT to resurface the flywheel. Only if it is scored or heat damaged, to replace it. It clearly says NEVER resurface.

Any idea's?

I know Dan at DC does resurface them. So who knows whats correct.

I have no clue. A local Viper shop says "Do not". My OE manual says "Do Not".

Im really looking at the SPEC Stage III. It may be more agressive than the Centerforce. Thats OK. Im not looking for the OEM "lady" peddle feel anyways.

I want something that will take launches at the track. The OE held up OK for about 30+ passes. But its gone now.

Has anyone used any SPEC product?

Just buy a new oem flywheel. I think they are under $200.
