...to haul my Harley down to Myrtle Beach August 13-18 for Mopar week. I really dont want to buy one off craigslist because Ill never use it again. Id rather just borrow one from somebody. Not many ppl in my area but figured between here and facebook Ill find something. I can pay for any gas it takes to get it to me, thanks.

only 4 hours! Come on man, convince the wife that she needs to see the Columbia Zoo, and in the meantime just drop the trailer off at my house. Eh? Eh? :listen:

Bag the truck, then put the Harley in the bed. Sounds like you could use the bags back there anyway.

How do you figure that? :dontknow: I hauled a couple hundred pounds of Army gear in 5 duffel bags a few hundred miles this past Saturday. All in the bed, didnt bottom out once. Harley is like 700 pounds. On a trailer I THINK it will be ok, in the bed is asking for shit to start bending.

If you are concerned that the tongue weight of a trailer with a Harley on it, will bottom it out, air bags would be a great investment.

As a side note, you can use my trailer, if you come pick it up.

Thats what Im saying tho, I dont know. I think it will be ok on a trailer, but Im def not putting it in the bed.

I would try test loading it to be honest and drive it round the town and see how it does. Then if there are issues, yur close to home.

I would load that thing up and hit the road. If it breaks along the way, then it was too much weight.

Really, stellar advice. :threaddie:

I offered you legit advice (install air bags, which is probably cheaper than renting a trailer, BTW) and you shot it down. I also offered to let you borrow a trailer. Now you are wishing me death?

You are right. Wishing death was wrong. This is more like it -> :chain:
