need exhaust help

ok so i have a friend that wants to build me a exhaust. manifold back. he is going to mandrel bend everything and it will exit out the passenger side in front of the rear tire. the ? is this. i dont know what size to run. he wants to do 3" but he also wants to do 3 1/2". he said we can also do 2 1/2". which size do you guys think the best performance will be? i thinks 3" would be best. o and we are running 3" glasspacks no cats and will be installing a aem standalone in it.


p.s. this is a serious ? serious answers only please

I'd go no bigger than 3". If you go too big, they will actually hurt performance and they'll be too dman loud...been there, done that.

i'm sure you're right. of course, if he's doing glasspacks and no cats, he doesn't give a damn about the noise anyway.
