Need Help Again W/ Clutch

Alright first let me start with alittle history. Back in March I bought an upgraded Master Slave Cyl., centerforce clutch and a new OEM flywheel. I loved it. No more lock out of third gear. I broke it in 750 miles that is alot of red lights in downtown Chattanooga. All was great after the break in.

I drove up to Murfreesboro which is about 140 miles away, I noticed the shift into first was not as smooth as before. I got about 3 miles from my house and that was that, the transmission went out.

THANK GOD for warranty work. I got a brand new one from Tremec. A week later I was on the road again just in time for the GTG.

Well now I once again am having problems getting it into 1st and it is locking me out of Third??:dontknow: :dontknow: I looked at the fluid and it was dirty.....So I called Tony and he told me how to change the fluid.

So this evening me and Jack (FatJack) changed the fluid. 550 degree boiling point! So we took a ride................and still locked me out of third at WOT.

I have a few more things to try, But does ANYBODY have a suggestions????? I sure could use anything. I am starting to get frustrated.:mad:

only thing I can think of bo, without just pullin th tranny and double checking everything is take the shifter, loosen all the bolts, work it around a little to kinda center it, then retighten, other than that..............I would probably pull it:D

oh now back to vacatin:p
 
reckon it could be a bad clutch or pressure plate. im just guessing. having no experience with the 6 sp.

Does momma know your on here:D ???? You suppose to be at the beach! Thats what Jack said I am gonna do that here in a few!

Thatas the next step. we looked at it when the trans was out it looked ok but you know how that goes

I do thank you Stinker and FatJack! I lossened the base of the B&M Went through all the gears tightened it down as tight as these "Trash can arms" could drove it, and at WOT from 2nd to 3rd made it everytime! I thank you guys very much. This is why I love this Forum!:rock:

Cool deal. I was just thinking of doing that to my truck yesterday. I haven't checked the bolts yet, and I have about 1500 miles on my x metal shifter. It seems to be making more noise now then it used to.
 
I need to adjust my shifter too. Seems to kick me outta second when I'm downshifting more often than not. Matter of fact, I need to do that on the Vette. It's been kicking out of reverse since installing the C6 Z06 shifter.
