picked up my "new" SRT today. it does no have a tonneau cover but does have the wing attached to the fenders. i want to add a cover but can't figure how to get the wing off. no screws anywhere to loosen. stumped.
thanks

There are two bolts at the front of the wing on the under side of the bed rail and 2 studs at the rear of the wing. You can slide the wing towards the back of the truck to remove it from the studs but you need to remove the tail lights to access the nuts on the bottom side of those studs to removethe studs. Sounds like more work than it is, only takes about 15 minutes tops.

What that guy posted is correct. There is a 10mm bolt under each bedside lip. Remove those, then slide wing towards rear. It may need to be bumped with your fist a few times :)
Remove tail lights to access and remove studs. Sometimes it can be unthreaded without light removal so give that a try first. How's the new truck?

forgive me---65 yrs old and miss a great deal that should be obvious. I looked exactly where you guys said and could not find it yesterday. I was looking 3" too far back. It is exactly where you guys saidl, up at the front. now I can proceed with putting on the cover and reinstalling the wing. thanks a bunch and hopefully i can limit my questions to real problems not those that are so obvious.

bought the truck yesterday and love the power----hope to have Scott (VENOMOUS 1) do the "street" mods you kind folks recommended to further inhance the preformance.

thanks again,
