need help asap

I bought an aem air/fuel gauge it came with everything gauge,wires and o2 sensor installed it on truck to my secondary o2 sensor after the catalytic on drivers side. obviously everything works fine and gauge reads perfect but i disconnected the original o2 sensor from plug so now my check "engine light" is ON. does any1 have an air/fuel gauge installed like mine or similar and crimped wires to the ones from plug? it should fix the problem but not all the wires are the same color there is like 4 that i remember 1 white 2 gray and 1 black coming from the plug but the wires from the gauge different color.

I always thought you were supposed to get an extra bung welded in the pipe to add an A/F guage sensor so you didn't have to pull the O2 sensor.

I installed my gage into an additional O2 bung. That way the original sensors were still functional. My local exhaust shop only charges $25.00 dollars to install the new bung. You also want the bung before the CAT so it reads the actual ratio.

ok thanks i thought of doing that just didnt know if any1 had done it before. ill take it to a muffler shop and check also today i get my headers and i already have my catback exhaust with catless mids from b&b so i dont have to worry about having a catalytic
