went to put the caltracs, bushings and shackles on but when i went to take my right rear tire off one of the lugs just spins. it doenst loosen or anything what do it do. How can i get it off. Is it the stud? how much to get fixed?

Take it to a local tire store, they should be able to zip it off with an impact. The stud is apparently stripped, easy fix.

If it just spins, then it might just spin with and impact too. Can it be held with vice grips and drill through the lugnut? If so, I would go that route.

might just be a cap over a lug nut , take some chanel locks to it see if you can remove the chrome cap off the lug nut

its the cap over the lug....had it happen to me while tacking them off the first time....took it to pep boys and let them take it off!

which cap. Are you talking about the Cap over the locker? or is there a cap over the lug nut?

I appreciate it. Just an update I went to firestone (don't ever go there for anything important like brakes though) and got them to take of the lug nut. they told me that dodge rams and chyrsler 300's are notorious for lug nuts failing like mine did. The two piece design loosens around the inner lug nut and can't be loosened unless you pound a smaller socket around it... Kind of sounds like a smutt letter huh?
