Need Help From The Head Gurus....Cyl Heads That Is..

Both these heads are supposed to be Gen 3...the 1st one is off my truck.....2nd is supposed to be gen 3 but why are the chambers different?....any problems using the 2nd one on my truck?....:dontknow:

....anyone posting that one is clean and the other is dirty will curse 1st born sons in their family for 3 generations with 2 inch peckers...:evil:

Well they cert dont look the same...Are those the strykers? the combustion chambers look alot smaller...Although they do look familiar, i think bone was selling a ported set that looked like that...

Did they build 2 different heads for the Gen 3 engines?...looks to me like the second one would raise compression..not good for a SC engine..

The second one is a wedge design increase flow and compression. the first one the piston prolly achieved the desired compression ratio instead of the head! All the sets i have done already have been like the second set.
