need help on tailgate lock

Press one for english....
Instruction says connect wires from tailgate to tan/pink and solid blue wire of wire harness located along the fire wall and the floor between the fire wall and the parking break.

Q: tan = 'stripe' or is it a color?
Fire wall ? what the hell is that?

I got the wires from the tail up to the parking break, the only thing do to is get the right colors. I feel like someone from the bombsquad now...

Any help is appreciated.

tan is the wire color, pink is the stripe color.

the firewall is the front of the cab behind the pedals, dash ect.

just find the tan wire with the pink stripe behind the parking brake and splice in

i think you have the remote tailgate lock. let me know if you still need help we have techs that install these.
