Need help with with inline fuel pump Q's

First off I did a search and did find anything that helped me.

I'm putting a 05 QC drivetrain in my in my buddies older dodge pickup but I don't think I can fit the sending unit in his tank.

So we were going to run an inline fuel pump but I don't know if we can run one with out modifying or changing the fuel rail to run a return line.

If anyone has experience with changing over to a return style fuel system please help.

Jmb performance sells fuel rails I believe. You can also weld a fitting on to make it a return.

U can put a fuel reg. at the fuel rail with a return on it will work just fine

Thanks guys that what I was planning. I will find out this weekend if the sending unit will fit in the tank.
