need help!!!

i had to take my driveshaft out of my ford today and get it rebuilt. new one is amazing but i have a problem. on the front is a cv joint (2 univeral joints) and it bolts to the fixed yoke on the back of the transfer case. well i lost the d**m bolts. they are 5/16 x 1" fine thread with a 3/8 12 point head. noone has them and i really need the truck. 5/16 bolts with normal size 6 point heads fit but everyone tells me that it will throw everything off balance bad. should i use the normal bolts till i can get replacements???? i dont want to blow my transfer case or rear end since they are brand new!!!!

you will be fine,just be sure the new ones are hardned
