ok guys this is where I stand 2004 RC stock....ok almost stock, I have a gibson cat back exhaust and k&n drop in flter. I what to hang with a 2004 z06corvette.... I know I could put a swupercharger on but damm that's some money! Are there any other routes to take? and what are they?

stock z06 should run 12.40 in the quater mile. in case you didn't know.

Thanks in advance

Delete your cats.......You can weld them back on when it's time to smog it...

That ought'a getch'a 20-25 hp...... You may need o2 sims too......

Without a supercharger NOS is the next best thing. I raced a stock Z06 (not the new one) last year with the Paxton but not with the upgraded DC Performance computer and blower inlet system. He got me off the line and I dont think before the mods I would have caught him. Now, I think I could give him a run. When I get a tune and roughly another 100rwhp I think I'll take him...hopefully I'll get a great launch.

I'll likely see him at another car show event where they allow the participants to run their cars at the 1/4 airstrip.

Snake, your gonna need some nOS to beat your z06 friend. My friend has that car....... ran 12.5 stock at our track. No way I could beat him. They are very fast.

The only way you are going to get to 12.4 or better is

a. turbo
b. supercharger
c. nitrous
d. n/a engine build

Not going to get there with external engine bolt on mods. Sorry.
