I didn't say anything was wrong with Princess Bride. Just that it was more Dan's type of movie. I've seen it too. I don't know about "Greatest of all time" but it was entertaining. :aetsch:

Should have listened to me and watched 12 rounds. It's one of those "don't have to think too much" action movies.

One of the greatest to me... :D

Top movie all time has to be Star Wars - A New Hope. Just because of what it did to the movie industry and how many people are aware of it throughout the world. For the time it came out and for the impact it has had over the last 30+ years, it has to be on top. All other movies that people believe are the best, to me are a very close second. Too bad Lucas ruined the last three.

Highest grossing all time - adjusted for inflation is Gone with the wind.

I don't know why, I can't put my finger on it but I like "The Fifth Element". Whenever I see that's it's on I'll watch it. Not a huge Bruce Willis fan so that's not it. I guess I just like the light hearted scifi stuff.

Funny you mention that movie... The opening sequence made me think of star wars and that it had the potential to be as great. I think Ian Holm was great in the movie but Tiny Zeus Lidster as the president was horrible.. Almost as bad as the real president we have now.. And that means a lot coming from me... ;)

I think that movie is described as not taking itself too seriously. If you watch it in the light, it is a fun movie to watch. I think Tiny Lister has accomplished more than our current President. Could probably do as good a job.
(Did I just say that out loud?):D
