Need new oil cap

Well, like an idiot, I lost my oil cap. Was checking the oil Saturday morning while I was busy doing other stuff to the truck for a car show that night, and forgot it. Made it to the show and then was even more emabarrased when someone else pointed it out to me.. DOH!!! So make a quick dash to Advance Auto Parts and got a universal one for 6 bucks. Found one on Ebay for 15 bucks, but it had 0-40 on the cap. Mine has 10-40 on it. So I called the dealership thinking they'll want about 30 bucks for one, and the come back $9.56. I'm thinking, that's not the right one, has to be the universal looking cap they use on all the other motors. So he went ahead and ordered it for me without me paying to make sure it's the right one. Just found out that it is! So for $9.56 I get a brand new oil cap and don't have to spend the 20 bucks on ebay for one that isn't right.

Just goes to show you that not all parts at the dealership are over priced...

Shoulda gone to MGW and got the Fang one in Chrome like I have!!!! While you're at it, that and the matching Chrome Fang Dip Stick Handle look gorgeous in there!!!!! They are a little more than $9.56 though.....

Yea, went there first to see just how much it was. $38 was a little more than I wanted to spend right now. Plus, wasn't sure just how it would look. I take it you really like yours. Maybe for Christmas I'll treat myself to that.
