I had hoped to never have to do one of these threads but it has happened. My best friend who I have gone through Flight Engineer School with and am currently stationed with has had a serious family tragedy last night.
His parents and his sister were victims of a Home Invasion in Albequerque, NM (I wont get into that...) and unfortunately it had gone wrong. Apparently they were told to lay face down on the floor when his Sister tried to grab the gun and was shot in the Face and in the Chest (Possibly more) and then his Father got up and was shot in the chest....I guess hitting a serious blood vessel.:dontknow:
The worst part is my friend is currently "Surged" to places unknown at this time and is kind of in denial. I talked to him this morning and he's trying to be strong but I know he's hurting....He's like a Brother to me and I know him well.
So I ask you guys to pray for Joe's family and hopefully they will pull through. Right now they are in the ICU and are in stable condition. His Sister was lucky that the bullet lodged in her sinus cavity....I guess, if you call that lucky.
Thank you in advance for your support on this issue...
