Need Prayers

sorry to hear about this Ken,as always you and Dawn will be in our prayers, and bro.if there is anything I can do just let me know, you all are family and I help out family.

Dear Ken,

I pray that God will bring a friend (of some kind) along side you both. Someone who has a heart that is willing to step in and help in your absence. I pray that God will grant both of you a greater ability to endure whatever comes along.

This is so hard on so many levels, I'm sure...... I pray God's own peace, endurance and spiritual strength will make it possible to withstand and be victorious over this situation......

"Be bold and be strong, for the Lord thy God is with you.........."

Shit Ken, I'm very sorry to hear this. Something told me there was still difficulties. Call if you want to rap, don't know your schedule and I sure as hell don't want to wake her. Hang in there bud.... damn.

Kenny,

Very sorry to hear about the slow start to recovery! These kinds of surgeries are never easy, especially with the initial set-backs that she had.

It will get better!! Once she gets started the recovery will take off!!!

I will keep praying for a speedy recovery.

Looking forward to this weekend Bro!!

As everyone else has said, if you need something, give me a shout. You have my number!

I'm real sorry to hear this Ken. I have been through what she is going through. If you have never had back spasms you can't understand what they are like. They are massive muscle cramps in the lower back area that lock up your whole lower body in terrible pain. I remember when the doctor told me I might get them, I though no big deal. Then I got them, trust me it is a BIG DEAL. I hope she feels better real soon.

Bill.

Ken,
Sorry to jump in here so late, but my family's thoughts and prayers are with you. My wife was diagnosed with chron's/colitis a few years ago and it's difficult to watch the pain it causes her. I don't want to begin to compare this with what your wife is going through, but I do know that faith and being there for her will get you far. We'll pray for a speedy recovery.

Jeff

Yeah ... they suck big time... oddly I am post op back myself 6 years ago.
Was the most difficult physical recovery, and personal rollercoaster ride I had ever dealt with. But made a great re-covery...enought to play 2 years of flag football with the city team...which... if my Neurologist was to see me ...he would have shit.... plus all the construction and work BS I have been involved with... but that's just me...I have been reminded multiple times ...If I don't watch it I will be back... but ...all or none for me...and I'm playing hard.
You only go around this track once..and I'm not missin it.
Just not sure if she has the "drive" to push herself as intensly...and in the big picture...it does not matter...it's her fight...and she will have to fight it at her own pace...not mine. I have been reminded every day..her struggle is different than mine...and it will get better. Patients, support, and understanding will have to be my "neutral"...and I must maintain a positive outlook for her...so she will be as driven to recover.

Thanks everybody for the support...we just got back rom the Doc....back to pain management...and wait till she is ready for another go at PT in a week or two.
