Alright here goes...I have two houses in Chattanooga. One i bought 2 years ago. I lived in this house with my little bro for about 3 months, when my older brother called and needed to leave Michigan (NO WORK) So I gave him a job and moved him his wife and three kids in with me. So one big happy family! they lived for free for a year. Well me and Kristee (fiance) Got together and moved to another house across town. They now pay 800 of the 1300 mortage at the house I no longer live at. Tim (OLDER BROTHER) got called to Iraq. He went to Iraq and while home on leave went to a job interview in Nashville (Firefighter) SO his wife now is planning on moving their. They are not sure if he got the job or not, but are counting on it.

So I am scared i am going to get stuck with 2 mortgages. So today i listed the house for sale. You guys think I did the right thing? I just can't afford two houses and a family. Let me know your opinion.

I know this has nothing to do with trucks, but I needed some other opinions to settle my nervers.

Have the family all picth in and pay the Mortgage if they can. Or rent the house while you have it up for sale....

For all you have done for them, the least they should do is make sure your taken care of now! Time to return the favour!Good luck.

You're one hell of a generous guy. You gotta take care of yourself too so I certainly don't think you did the wrong thing by listing the house.

" just can't afford two houses and a family".............That said it all...you made the right decision...go to bed..you have been generous beyond the call of duty..

If you guys only know how generous Mark really is, he is a hellava good person!

I am not sure what the housing market looks like in Chatanooga but it really sucks in Southern Missouri. A ton of folks are loosing their homes due to ARM rates. I think it would be a damn good time to rent and wait for the market to rebound. There should be plenty of people with good jobs that want a nice home to rent since their credit crashed after their mortgage forclosed.

Thanks Guys just sometimes you need to hear other peoples opinions to settle the nerves.....................Thanks Jack!

I gotta agree with the guys here. If you can hold on to it and rent it out, and wait till the market changes, that's exactly what I would do. Plus you get the advantage of having another write off! Good luck in whatever you decide.

Just be honest with your bro..............tell him you cant afford both houses and if he is moving, your gonna list the house for sale so you dont end up going broke.
