OK, so I know I'm knew....and I don't own an SRT-10....but I do have an '04 Dodge Ram 1500 QC with the 5.7. A fellow member of the forum I stick to just sold me some suspension stuff that suposedly came off an '04 SRT-10 that was traded in at the dealership he works at. In the box is two Bilstein shocks, but the only part number I can find on them doesn't register anywhere online...it is 05290452AA. Are these actually from an SRT? Also, they should fit my truck since I have a mild drop right? Are they front or rear?

Second thing in the box was a pair of X-Metal Engineering shocks. I suspect they must be for the rear since they are quite long. I found two numbers on them: 01396 and 50627. I noticed the sponsership at the bottom of the forum list so I'm almost wondering if maybe the former owner was an enthusiast and possibly a member on here. I'm in Norman, OK and the truck this stuff came off of was traded in at Norman Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge.

Third thing in the box was a set of front springs. According to the shop manager, they are not stock, so they were taken off. I have no need for these so if someone out there is interested let me know. Anyway, thanks for any help.

I can provide pics if anyone needs them for identification purposes.

The front shocks are valved for a slightly heavier front end, but should work fine for your truck and deal. the front should have a stem on the top and a bar on the bottom, the AA does sound like a SRt shock. the rear will have a loop on top and a loop on bottom
the rear is most likely a monroe shock or something of that sort, depends on what you want to do with them.

But the front is most likely a stock SRT shock .

the springs are from Gary's lowering kit, if ya dont want them, I would take em off ya hands, and pay shipping, but if ya could send me a lenght that would help to make sure they are lowering springs, I can powder coat them and put a set of blocks with it and do a giveaway for free to someone at a GTG or something, just pm me if interested

Hey I live by Tinker and have an '04 RC. The Bilstein shocks did come on the SRT. Do you know what kind of springs you got?

the front part number for the SRT shocks is 5114489ab they are bilsteins front and rear and the number will not match the numbers the shocks.

the suspension on the SRT trucks is way stiffer they your hemi truck.

Wow guys, I never expected this much of a response from all of you. Not that I think less of you guys, but I've been on forums where if you aren't the intended audience, you get treated like the stepchild they never wanted. Anyway, I plan on using all of the shocks.

the front should have a stem on the top and a bar on the bottom

If by "stem" you mean what looks like the top of a bolt with a nut on it and by "bar" you mean a sort of "t" with holes on either side, then yes, they do.

the rear will have a loop on top and a loop on bottom

Yep.

Do you know what kind of springs you got?

Nope, no markings that I can find. They are just black and heavy. Not sure of factory length, so I have nothing to compare to.

if ya could send me a lenght that would help

I'll send you a pm as soon as I know.
