Ok, now what really has been bugging me is my truck needs to go into this bodyshop to get a brand new bumper, since the shipping company damaged it. Long story short is I've been waiting for MONTHS because they are always pushing back the date and having to reschedule, but have ben very patient and lienient with them because the owners wife is sick and he's been taking off allot to take care of her. He's the one who is supposed to work on my truck because of a couple of issues with his workers. Now I've never dealt with them before, and they say they are gonna need the truck for 2-3 days, WTF? How long does it take to take off a bumper and put on a new one on this truck? How hard is it to do? I'm really thinking about just telling them I'll bring my truck in so they can make sure to get the right paint code, have them paint the new one, then I'll take it home and switch them myself and bring the old one back. It's already to the point where he's giving me a signifigant amount of cash along with a new bumper since I've been waiting for so long. At the time being I can live with the bumper being damaged since it's a small area at the very bottom of the bumper, but I do want to get it fixed soon, and it's getting to the point where I'm ready to just do it myself. Just wanted to get everyone's opinions.

You can see the damage is these pics

I don't think it would be that hard to change out the bumper cover, I replaced the one on my wife's jeep and it was real easy. On the Jeep there was some plastic rivets that has to be drilled out, but I also put a Manik Nudge Bar on (To avoid another cracked bumper) and it came with replacement pins instead of rivets. It was really easy to change.

Should take about 1/2 a day to replace. That is about how long my bodyshop took to do mine. Or you could just modify it into the Danko bumper:D :marchmellow:

I had some similar damage to mine, but I refused to leave the truck with them. I took the bumper cover off myself and took it in to them. It comes off really easy - some screws in each wheel well, some bolts underneath and some push-pins on top (you have to open the hood to see these). I got replacement push-pins at Autozone. The bumper cover is really awkward and flimsy when not fastened down, so you'll have to be careful with it and you'll need a pickup or trailer to transport it. Also, since the cover is such an irregular shape it's a pain to buff out. I wasn't satisfied with the job they did on mine so I rebuffed it myself - took me 5 hours to make it beautiful.
