Need to VENT....

Ok guys, Just need to vent a little.....

Everyone knows that I lost my truck to an accident and have gone thru some tough stuff in the past couple months.... I miss my truck soooo bad. Im looking to get another one locally but I have to come up with a down payment of $2-3k because my credit is a bit weak from me going thru my divorce in the midst of all of this. I was arrested for something that I didnt do, and lost my job as a result. Work has been screwing my hours up thus affecting my pay. Since I lost my truck, I have been having to share a car with my GF but it sux SOOOO BAD!! Ive gotta do something BUT I cant seem to get shit straight. If I didnt have bad luck Id have none at all. I cant really get into any decent vehicles without a down payment so Im stuck for a WHILE it seems unless a down payment falls from the sky and nails me in the head. But if that happens itll prolly kill me becuz thats how my luck goes.... Im trying to scrape the rest of some cash together for a fine so I dont go to jail. Im tellin you guys, SH*T is gettin old. At this point idk what else to do..... On top of everything, Im having to help out with my younger bro and sis because my parents are divorcing after 17 years of marriage....Idk... hopefully you guys have some inspiring words for me.....

This may not be the answer your looking for....

I would say for starters, forget the truck, and get your life back on track. Sounds like you have a lot on your plate that your not saying. As bad as sharing a vehicle is, it will help keep your expenses down for a bit.

Hang in there, it sounds like you have the will to succeed....

Before you think I'm an ass for even thinking what I said, I know kinda how your feeling. Lost my truck in May and it was the only vehicle the Wife an I had. I use public transportation every day and the Wife shares a ride with the daughter....

Maybe you can TRY to get into a credit union. I have never needed to put a down payment on a vehicle (but I have) and its pretty easy to get a loan and a good intrest rate. Also if you look a dealer call www.texasdirectauto.com they have a couple of 10's at very good prices... I got mine with 23K miles on it for $24,900 back in Sept 08' They also finance, but its harder through them. When I was there, there was a couple who flew in from Oklahoma to get a Jeep, said they couldnt get one anywhere for the price they were getting theirs.... hope this helps///good luck

Hang in there and it will turn around. I would prolly stay out of anything that comes with a payment for now with things the way you are saying.

I have had some issues myself but not nearly like yours but keep the faith and keep things simple. Thats what I go by. I wish you the best of luck!

Like you, someday, maybe I'll be back in a 10. I know with just the small changes I've done so far, I'm doing a little better everyday. No, I don't pretend to know all the crap your going through and I wish you the best in your endeavor.

As hard as it seems, look at some of the things you can do without during the week, you might be surprised at what you find and every little bit helps

like they said forget the truck for now. be there for your brother and sister. they are far more important than a truck. also stay out of trouble...lol buy you a beater for 500 or 600 and get to work. it will turn around.
