Negotiating new car

It's a beautiful car and it's definitely rare. It seems like you can get it at a fair price. Fair, of course, is a relative term. If it was me I think I would pursue a clean '67 with a big block 427 for a fraction of the price.

So, how much does he want for it, Mike?

mucho......but......I have been looking for a car for weeks now.....and as I see it....

1) we are looking at little if any depreciation here
2) Will cost me the cost of the money not being in the bank...say 6%
3) I am sick of not wanting to drive my car outta town because it adds miles (not really a factor on a '63)
4) I don't have to worry about the new model coming out next year
5) probably won't see another one at Starbuck's
6) Dc performance can do the service
7) I am half Italian...therefore a vette is perfect for me...:D

Very Nice Vette Mike!...bet she really looks clean without the decals on her:dontknow:

Sounds like it's it.......I always use the "comparison gig"... usually when getting into a home to flip...but same principal...

If you find yourself comparing everything else to this one...then it's "The One"

Doesn't look as nice as a camaro, IMO. Still, whatever makes you happy Mike. :D
Thanks for the loan on the fire jacket on Sat. BTW. :)

That's not a *real* '63 Grand Sport, is it? Doesn't look like it. (just checked the LateralG link...it's not a real '63).
I was gonna say: Scoring a real '63 Grand Sport for less than $400K is a major coup.

You probably won't see another at Starbucks because they only made about 30 Grand Sports. :)

It's a helluva clone though.
You sure you want that as a daily driver? Seems like a lot of work. Your call.

You guys are funny!!!! If anyone would've said you were gonna spend what you did on your trucks you'dve (did I spell that right) said they were crazy. That ride looks like way to much fun for me!!!!!!!!!!MUHHhahahahahahahah!!!!!Rice eater!!!!!!!:D

Mike,

I know you well enough to know this: You always do your homework and yer probably one of the last guys ever to get his clock cleaned buying a car.....

Listen to yer heart and move cautiously. You'll be fine.....

For that kinda money you can either build a smokin' Z06 or have a nice Ford GT supercar.....

Just Bought it.............................

If your half Italian, Why not go all Italian for a Ferrari which is a real thoroughbred.;)

I always thought the 63 had a split rear window. Maybe this one is different.

The grand sports were completely different for weight reasons.....they raced at a weight of 2000lbs....

This modern one weighs in at a beefy 2600lbs......:D
