New 22" Wheel Question

Hey Fellas,
I'm considering picking up a set of these wheels. My current tires are getting low and since I need new shoes anyway, might as well throw on some new rims...

In Hyperblack. I actually ordered these a while back in 24's but Lenso broke the mold and isn't making them anymore in black or silver. I would be pairing them with a Toyo 305/40/22 tire.

The wheel is a 22x9.5.. Just want to make sure this will fit. Is there any funky offset that I should be worried about?
 
Wheel looks nice, but I would pass on the Toyo's if you drive your truck in the rain.

I put them on mine and in the rain it was like driving on ice. It was damn near impossible to start out from a stand still and not spin the tires at least a little.

Good advice about the Toyos.. Thanks for that. I actually drive my truck in the ice and snow too,,, so the Toyo's probably wouldn't work well at all then. I have Coopers on now and they've been fantastic. Ideally, I would like to get the entire package shipped to my door fully mounted and balanced so I can hit the road asap.. My other option for a 305/40/22 from their site is a Falken STZ04... Any recommendation on those???

personally, i wouldn't buy any tires from les schwab (les schwab also sells Toyos & Falken's - crap tires)....... go bf, goodyear or even the stockers over those guys......:(

Mine are 22x9.5. The offset seems great. Oh and the wheels you showed look parkay man. I really likes.

They're called Hyperblack but they sure look like a dark gunmetal... I would rather have that than black. Should look sweet. I'm still waiting from the wheel company to see if they have them in stock...
 
Well,,,, CRAP... Just found out they don't make it in our bolt pattern. That sucks... It was really the only wheel I really like, regardless of cost.

If cost isn't an issue, check out HRE Wheels, and I-Forged Wheels. :rock:

I think it was Roktman that had the I-Forged wheels from Hennessey and had nothing but problems with them. Shipped them back to Hennessey and once again Hennessey screwed him over. I forgot the exact outcome, but it wasn't good.
 
Toyo's are sweet i live in washington "the rain captial" i run them on everything the toyo proxes are a far superior tire than "GOOD FOR A YEAR"
(my opinion obvisously)- Never owned any bf's so i cant speak on those.

Boy, you had better luck with the Toyo's in the rain than I did. They did not have the hydroplaning issues the OEM did, but they were slick as hell under acceleration.

By the way, I live in the Festering Shit Hole, otherwise known as Western Washington too.

i agree john...... had a set on a truck & they weren't worth a crap on dry pavement either....... swapped out for a set of goodyears - a far superior tire. :D

AS FAR AS THE TIRES BEING SLICK I DO HAVE THE AUTOMATIC VS YOUR 6SPD.-THAT COULD BE THE ISSUE.

nope........ toyo's were the issue....... no problems since.:D
