congrats, looks like a golden retriever.

Yeppers, he is 8 weeks old and I should be going to my Mom's place in a couple weeks to pick him up... Can't wait!

i had one that used to love to stand on the hood of my truck and bark at folks when i went in a convenience store. didnt like anyone around my vehicle.

Excelent choice!!! We have one too. He is awsome with our little girl.

Thanks guys and lady,

Just talked to Mom and she is still laughing at him, he tried to copy Mom's dog and chase his tail. I guess it didn't work out as well as he expected.

Jake, I guess he is pretty close to being trained, he will start scratching on the floor when he ready, I will have to keep a real good eye on him. I was hoping he could spend a week with Mom's dog to get him on the right path so to speak. Kelsey would make a great teacher.

Ummm, can't do much more to my furniture... :(

Don't you have a supercharger to get ready???? :p

Before I forget, does anyone have any pointers?:dontknow:

I have decided to crate train him and make sure there are a lot of chew toys around... Not too mention, puppy and I will be going for 45 minute or more excercise sessions morning and evening. Not sure if it will be better for him or me...

Thanks again,

Will

You sound like you know what you're doing so far! :) ..... Labs/Retrievers need all the activity you can give them. Just like any other dog, (but more-so w/ the bigger working breeds) if they are frustrated, that's when the furniture gets tore up and behavior problems show up.

RULES, BOUNDARIES, and LIMITATIONS!!!! :) ;)

Heartiest congratulations.........

What a doll that little shit machine is..............

Many years of happiness to you all.............

Willow sends her best, too............

My sister has a Golden retriever named Jazz. She has a habit of snatching my niece's toys too. I just figure if they are left laying around they are open game. :)
