First of all thank you to...
Mickey...Thanks for the for the hospitality and clutch install brother... You and Eva are great people. :dontknow: how do my sandals fit....LOL. Rest assured... if we get 2' of snow here you can strap em' on over your sneakers. Makes for a "strapping" pair of snowshoes.
Wish I was in town the 6th for your GTG.
Jake my brother... Thanks for a great chance to chill out, BS, lounge, "Golf" ;) with a hangover...then decide to fix it with a with a few Margarita's:D, and for letting me help ya turn a wrenches on the Vette...too cool  Jake you got a sweetheart there...Tell Sara I said thanks again.
You make a great pair. Congrat's bud.
Scott and Alexis.... Congrat's on the two year Anniversary... it was a most pleasant suprise when I heard that you were at Jake and Sarah's... Thanks for all that you have done for us. You both are such great people.
An equal opportunity to re-iterate, what great friends and family I have had the chance to meet through the forums, over the past three years. Thank you all for making this place

Ok...
I have been running the upgraded Viper Master/Slave, Centerforce Dual Friction, and Fidenza....with no issues...for the past 10k/2years.
The CF still looked pretty good.... certainly got plenty hot in there.

It has been the debate for multiple threads...regarding the OEM vs. the Fidenza for a variety of reasons....... in a nutshell I decided to go back to the stocker for the increase in rotating mass...believing that there will be less bog from the tree at the dragstrip with the heavier flywheel.

So I have an entire Cryo'd clutch and Cryo'd OEM flywheel as a replacement.

I already have 456 miles on it... I did lean into the throttle (was on the way home via I-75) and the rpm's dont ramp up as quick.
I will get a real good idea when I can get to the track.

QueLocura... your Cryo'd flywheel is at Mickey's. I hope it helps you out.;) :D I also left you my old Centerforce there...it still has life in it 50%ish...if you need it in a pinch. Not sure if Centerforce can rebuild it:dontknow:and save you a few bucks

Yeah...was not too bad...doubt it would have made it through the winter though....I was launching @ 5 grand at the Nat's/ Moroso Drag strip and the truck would bogg to about a grand.. I/we related it to the lighter flywheel.
Since I/we were swapping out the flywheel, I decided to change the Centerforce as well. Did not want to deal with it in the middle of the racing season...and miss it all like I did last year:mad: and... we have a member here who is in Med school...the CF, and a new stock flywheel is going to him... so he can get his clutch done.
The RPM's come up nice and smooth with the heavier flywheel, however I believe I would be down a bit on HP...due to the increased work of the motor having to move the steel FW vs the Aluminum. Not concerned if it keeps me from the huge bogg I was getting. Time will tell:dontknow:
I am actually following the break in period with the CF this time... I made it to 150 miles break in on the old one :burnout:...held up damn good.

I did the same a month ago Ken. Replaced the CenterForce with another CenterForce and went back to the OEM flywheel. The truck is much more streetable...while it was good before...when the engine was cold, it was a little baulky...now with the greater rotating weight, cold or warm, the ride is smooth and comfortable.

We are about to get cooler weather, will be on the track soon...

Has any one posted the weight of the Stock flywheel or the wieght of the
Fidenza ???????? Don't have the two to compare, maybe someone could post the wieghts :D :D :D

Yup, I thought I was a little compulsive...but I don't hold a candle to Ken.

I,m sure you will find a marked improvement in launch and shift(r.p.m. drop)!:)
It didn,t take you long to run the recommended break in mileage!!:D
I,m still a little concerned about your pedal height,(A bit high) for me.:dontknow: Time to bolt those slicks on and have at it:burnout:
MAY THE CENTERFORCE BE WITH YOU!!!!!!

This is very close Jerry... Fidenza is about 18lbs, and the stocker is 33lbs :D
