new clutch damn the Centerforce

I should add that I did not comment on the Centerforce. No experience with them.

Never did say they were better or worse than the Spec.

your right not until we finish the piping for the twin 88's my biggest problem is finding enough fuel pressure.... need more pump(s)...

thanks but i can only see where this is going to go now....

Dude dont be sillly, twin 88's is rediculous, they want even come in until almost 5000rpms, and to build aan engine to push 88's will cost over 60k, an suppliing fuel to that is no problem anyway , on aeromotive pump would easily take care of the fuel pressure, and with twin 88's set up correctly you would make close to 2500 hp, waaay too much for the spec.
If ya gonna fib at least make sure its belivable:dontknow:

Why would us "OLD PEOPLE" listen to anyone with SVT in their screen name on an SRT web site?????????

Because I pass his shop twice a day, and just about every lighting that pulls out of there woops my ass, and we wont bring up the red turbo one that really handed it to me at the track...(he was runing mid 10's)....

Blaine is very well known for building some sick as fast rides.

I also know that he has been researching and looking into every aspect of this build for over a year.

If it can be done and i wanted that same set up I would trust that Blaine could do it.

Having said that I can't wait to see what his set up will run.

Just due to his driving skill he may come close to being the fastest six speed around.

I to have been by his shop several times and the rides parked out front are just insane fast.

LOL thats a great post from one of our finest senior members....

First off, you did not have to defend yourself, as I did not attack you. I passed along my experience with a Spec clutch. And if you read what I wrote, it was not just the one clutch, it was two or three with the same problem. Also this was not the first time that Brad had, had a problem with the Spec clutches and Spec did not really care when he contacted them.

I have also stated that I have no experience with the Centerforce. Once again, did not defend them, and say they were better than the Spec.

So, to sum it up, you started the name calling with "what a bunch of uneducated Hillbilly's", and then attacking old people with computers.

I'm willing to let this die if you are. Or we can have a real pissing match that you will probably loose. Your choice.

not worth a response but if you care to tango i will oblige you.....

1000 ft lbs isn't enough for drag racing. That will slip. I needed a 1000 ft lbs clutch in my 400+ hp 1800 lb isuzu just for a comparison

damn, well so much for trying out new stuff. YOu guys think you know it all...... my experience with spec blah blah blah...I wouldn't put it in my John deere... what a bunch of uneducated Hillbilly's.

I mean really let really talk about this junk ass centerforce. It has noisy weights to "help" it grab better but in reality i helps it stick to the floor(centrifigul force is muther fawker look it up) mosty of you are not making any kind of power to even annoy the SPEC. Now i have had one bad clutch from each supplier listed and you know who stepped up to the plate..... SPEC and they got it figured out.

ahh whats the use you guys get one thing in your mind and you think you know it all. They should have never let old people get computers.....

#1 There are no hills in Mississippi so the hillbilly thing is out
#2 Stinker has run 126 mph in his SRT 10 6 speed, until you do that then you really don't need to throw stones at wiser, older people.
#3 Anybody can talk trash on the internet, bring your SRT 10, not someone elses to the next SRT get together at a drag strip and earn respect that way, not bench racing like a lot of kids do.

not a problem bro i own many cars and trucks one of which is my own srt10 truck which is my daily driver and my wife drives a GCSRT8. not here to debate that I own one thats it. Yes it has gone faster and made more power than most of the other RC out there and ran 12's bone stock...... ha vid is in my sig.

thanks Zman and Zac but these guys have made their opinions of me let them keep thinking that.... i came here to try and help but i see no future in that.

oh and 126 comment been there done that in most of the cars i own(in the 1/8 mile) its no big deal. trucks included not this one srt10 as i have bigger plans but get back with me when you have 167mph in the 1/4.....

Come on guys if you guys actually met each other you guys would probably end up friends so quit being so defensive and let it rest.

And Blaine I saw you drive a SRT10 truck and it only ran a 13.5.:p :D
