New drag strip in Miami, FL

That's right South FLA guys they just opened up a new 1/8 mile track in Miami-Dade County. The track is located on Ockeechobee Rd just off of Krome Ave. Rice and I are thinking about going out to make a couple of passes this weekend. Anyone interested post up. Track is open on Sat and Sun from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

Finally I don't have to drive an 1 hour to get to the track. This place is 10 minutes away. Now I have no excuses not to go. I think I'd better start saving some money for tires:burnout:

Yeah,I had heard about that place on another forum !!!!Ought to take some of the load off of Immokalee Regional Raceway !!!Only 1/8 mi,but still fun to play on !!!!OSW is the closest to me,about an hour away !!

Alex....I read somewhere that 6,000 people showed up for last weekend!!?? I say we roll out early Sat morning and see how busy it is and get a couple runs in before the madness.....i don't want to hang out there all day.....gotta go shoot some trap to! Gates open at 9am so I'm thinking be there about a quarter till and see what it looks like.

Oh and I still have those mid size M&H Drag Radials. I'll bring them with me and you can see if they'll fit on those rims you have. You might want to save up for a line lock! i have one but its not installed yet. I am never powerbraking the truck ever again! I have the new rear in and have to be kind to the spider gears!
