Carrier bearing is “knockingâ€￾ so going to a one piece shaft on Friday. Do not know if I can keep the carrier bearing housing as a safe guard but will take a look. :dontknow: All aluminum so do not know what to expect. :dontknow: Think the bearing being out may have caused my tranny rear seal to start leaking. :dontknow: Will post pictures of the shaft before and after installation. Thoughts??

How much are you paying for the shaft? Do you have an RC or QC?

QC and not positive on the cost. He said between 400 and 600 depending on the u-joints. Probably nearer $600 but we will see. Let you all know later.

Have you guys replaced the carrier bearing on these trucks before?
I'm about to replace mine and need some insight.

It has to be pressed off and on but replacement isn't too expensive. :burnout:

You'll have to take the whole crossmember where the carrier is out
