New Exhaust Installed Today...

All I heard was something that sounds like the dryer running,

you doing the laundry? :D

Admit it Roy you hate one of your neighbors right? :dontknow:

But really, If mine was that loud I'd have ticket before I pulled on the street around here!

But it will sound sweet when we have a foot of snow here... :santaclaus:

Just go out to the garage and start her up, close your eyes and think of spring! :driver:

Those are wise words..I do believe that the local pd is going to object...but as long as it is in the garage...they won't know.

I would pull you over just to see what the hell system ya got under there! :D
Then tell you i want to see what that Roe does! :dontknow: Like i did with this Lambo!

Hey roy, i wouldnt worry to much. I am all around with my exhaust open all the time (even though it hurts my performance--no back pressure left:D ). I have yet to be pulled over and have actually gotten a few thumbs up from our fellas in blue. Plus you dont have any wear in the x-pipe yet let it build a little black and then your gonna notice a little less on that loud sound. You know my exhaust, how is it compaired to me louder or quieter? And no popping wheres the fun, I luv my popping gurggling evil sound, people just stair at me hehehe even better when I close um up and go stealth right in front of um :D

I have regular ole series 40 2 chamber 13 inch flomasters, installed verticaly, took off the water heater sized muffler and tossed it and tossed the resonator too,I have some poppy not much at2000 rpm 5 and 6 gear it has that old sixties hot rod hum............likey that open is bitchin.......tickets?

Gurgle is fine...popping is not good...the pops can be deleted by a great tune...but it takes time and a focused and persistent tuner.

Any one have pictures of a Borla install???

Well, i have a Borla system, but no pics...I'll try to get some. I love the system so far...nice and deep!

Would appreciate it...can I get someone to just sell me the Borla muffler?

popping only happens when shes open, when closed, she is as quiet as a ford festiva lol:D no pop no gurgle:dontknow:

you are crazy Prof... we were working days to ADD mufflers ON the existing ones... you use some tubes and a X ?... :dontknow: ...:p :p :D

It sounds good but is a little loud...If I could bring it down a few decibels I would be very happy...looking at all of my options. Currently thinking about just adding two MagnaFlow Resonators.

Now if you get into it...it is a bit obnoxious.

Not unlike its owner...

Here's a video for a Borla Cat-Back. Not sure if this is what you were looking for. But, IMO, this exhaust sounds pretty good.

Just turn your damn hearing aid down ancient one:D

Don't need tips...like the stock ones...threw the MagnaFlow tips away...I will call Borla tomorrow to see if they will just send me a muffler.

Steve, I have not put it back on a dynojet...it has been on the Mustang and that number with the conversion factor was 685. But the Mustang dyno is a progressive resistance dyno and the numbers are not comparable.

i don't think you should worry about the police i have been riding around with no muffler, just straight pipes for the past 5 months people say it sounds like a 18 wheeler coming down the road. The sound gets a little nuts when you get on it, you probably know exactly what i mean. Turns so many heads and you always get the question "holy shit what is that"

I hope you are right!

We will see the first time one pulls up behind me at a stop light.
