New Exhaust Set-Up??

As some of you know, I'm currently running off-road mids and (2) Dynomax bullets with an H-Pipe. I also still have the stock resonator. I really really like th fact my truck sounds different than everyone elses. :)

I'm thinking of changing it up a bit.

The guy that's done all my exhaust work has some Cherry Bomb Extremes that's he's itching to hear/use. They're similar to the single chamber Flowmasters. I'm debating on ADDING them to my current set-up, or SWAPPING mine out. I haven't decided. I also haven't decided if I want to delete my factory resonator.

I'm also considering the Corsa mufflers that Stinker sells. If I got these, I would definitely ditch the Dynomax Bullets, and replace them with the Corsa mufflers. Again, undecided if I want to delete the factory resonator or not.

Then again, I may just leave the shit alone. Does anyone have any input? Is anyone running either muffler??? :dontknow:

Corsa sounds nasty on vipers (when I say nasty, i mean "hell yeah that sounds badazz") might be worth a shot.

btw...nice dyno numbers:rock:
 
Sounds great now! But I'm like you, change is good. Plus you can always go back to what you KNOW sounds good if you don't like the bombs or Corsas.

That was my initial thought when my guy even said "Cherry Bomb". I was like there ain't no fvckin' way . . .
 
If it ain't broke... dont fix it. It sounds good now. I would put my money into mods I don't already have, but thats just me:dontknow:
 
I think those dynomax's sound really good! But I'm going to be using Stinkers "black" Corsa's,I say if your going to change it " G O CORSA!!!",Like BurtRubber says the CORSA's do sound NASTY!! Thats why Im going to be a Corsa member soon.

Are the black one's the louder ones, or is it the red ones????

I think the Black ones or recomended for FI,headers and catless,if I recall I think the black ones are "Deeper" so yeah louder most likely,check out the sound clips on you tube,"Corsa viper exhaust" should find it,theres a few of them,I won't have mine done for a little bit,doing my ROE install after Christmas sometime,trucks in hibernation till April,May sometime.:burnout: :burnout: :burnout:

Good luck with your install!! I am 10vious! :p I don't think I can hold out that long to modify my exhaust. . . :D

I think the corsa's sound bad ass. They give that exotic car sound. Are you going to use any resonators with the mufflers?
