new front wheel package

Will be running slick the same height as the front tires, yeah they are 15x3.5's, steering isn't very quick as the side walls are pretty soft but the brakes grab much faster/harder I'm assuming because they weigh so much less

Becareful with the skinnys if things get outta control.

That would by my concern on the top end, my truck gets a little squirrely sometimes with the slicks.

Yeah, but to add my .02, the load rating is up to par and the Lightning fags have been running them since 95ish?:dontknow:
I say do the testing and R&D and rock on:rock:

Dang, that wheels looks liked if the wind blows against the side of the truck that they will fold over.

yeah, everyone seems to think along those lines as well, i decided to "put my money where my mouth is" so-to-speak and just try them out because no one really has any idea what will or wont work till its tried out, and like scott says i'm within the manufacturer's weight rating(that was before my weight reduction and with the OEM wheels and tires, i should be WELL under the weight rating now with the skinnys and weight reduction i've done)

Good luck, hope they work well, just mentioning it because I run elevens and hitting the wall at the top end would really ruin your night.

Ohh trust me I've been taking baby steps with them to see how they're gonna do, and if you're getting squirrely in your truck might try to go up a pound of air or so in the tires if your not spinning off the line, I could notice a HUGE difference in mine with just a small change

Soooo...how do they feel so far mang? Ready to run in 110* weather, lol. If we wait till about 10, we'll have 95*,lol

Would a wider front wheel fit with a little more grinding or is this the only size that looks like it would work. Im guessing a wider wheel would have a higher load rating.

It doesn't look like enough to grind anymore for a wider wheel. But all the weld wheels I looked at had the same 1200lb per wheel rating
