New guy!

these guys are doing it
But it is way too much money for me
Don't know if it's still true, but some years ago I thought they had trouble getting stuff to last for street use.

Thats a shame. I like the idea but need a wealthy beneficiary to help hahaha
Hahaha ,, Yeah im my own Benificiary .. It all goes with me to the grave hidden on a dessert island and only a map to find me and the stuff .

I had the same questions when i joined 3 years ago. Now i'm considering a 6spd swap and trying to gather parts.
This is long but a lot of info.

Try to find a low mileage original t56. Mine in my RC YF went 105k miles, 30k supercharged with 4500 rpm clutch drops, before 5/6 started rattling. when I swapped my QC, the "quality rebuild" lasted less than 2k miles, then I was told no "truck replacement parts were available and it failed because the shop used car replacement parts. So I went for the tr6060 into a t56 case swap, 500 miles later it was rattling, no warranty, they said somehow I had "done something wrong" and bent the input shaft and the Mcleod twin disk clutch couldn't be used on a street vehicle because it eats the teeth on the input shaft (this is the same clutch my original t56 had in it)
then I did another tr6060 build from another well known shop (there are only 3 that I know of), 2k miles later It's rattling, although in its defense I was towing at 80-90 mph, 1500 miles, GVWR 16000, but sticks in 3500 rams do that for years soooooooo.
Anyway, while a tr6060 might be fine for a car i dont think it can handle the weight of the truck combined with actual high speed operation and torque of the truck especially with an aggressive clutch applying it all.
Now the first 2 companies didn't offer sprayers for 5/6 gears but the 3rd company says that fixes the problem i had with the last one..... not sure if believe it for the $9k price they want though.
Now we come to driveshafts, if your truck has ever been lowered then the PO probably cut the carrier bearing out and replaced with a single shaft. Works great, mine saw 140mph in the half mile with no vibrations.
The t56 makes the shaft even longer, causing a looping effect around 70-90 mph in most trucks. Personally I think i cured it better cant get anyone with a stock QC or a single shaft 48re truck to send me pics or video to verify it.
My QC had a HUGE 5 inch across axle pinion yoke that I think is stock, I think that yoke is screwing the balance of the longer shaft because people go to the driveshaft shop and say "I need a longer shaft and the shop just makes one based on the stock axle pinion yoke.
I used the trans slip yoke frome a t56, and swapped the axle pinion yoke to 1350 yokes (matches slip yoke) then had the shaft built to match.
My QC did 120mph with NO VIBRATIONS WHATSOEVER.
I just wish I could prove that's the fix.

8HP90 trans
Your choice of electronic shifter (car t-style or truck dial)
Sound German retro harness
V10 to hemi bellhousing adapter
Custom driveshaft; ZF trans doesn't have provision for a slip yoke
TCM tuning to tailor trans (especially the torque limiting) to the engine. TCM is integrated into the valve body.

Now the fun part....integrate the dial into the dash somewhere or cut up the lower dash to install a console for the 2005 QC. If you have a 2006 they come with the truck business console and it would likely be fairly simple to modify it for that. A stock '90 has a max torque rating of 1000 n-m, which is well over 700 lb-ft so it can handle an engine with some modifications. If need be it can be much more fortified; stock original 707 hp Hellcat was 650 lb-ft. The Demon 170 makes 1,025 hp & 945 lb-ft on E85 and there is a special '90 behind it that handles it no problem. The various Demon 8HP90's also have an integrated transbrake.
As far as the selector, in an 05 the t56 console works great for hiding wiring i would think. Dial doesn't care about orientation does it?

Very informative.

Nope. Later year Chrysler 300 used a horizontal dial (I believe newer Grand Cherokees do as well):

In fact I think this dial would be better to use since it doesn't have any 4wd/awd pieces to it and will use the same plug as the car style t-handle.
