Haven't been posting much lately...been preoccupied with a new obsession....

Adventure riding....:rock: ...

Just got home from my maiden voyage...a small run to get the kinks worked out...all in all going to do a dozen 3-5 day rides over the next 8 months to get ready for a trip to the Arctic Ocean via Alaska....

this weekend's run was a 900 mile 3 day trek....we logged 20 hours of actual moving time...with no more than 1.5 hours on the interstate....man my ass is sore...:rock: ....

Lesson#1

taking pics of your friend at 80mph....and not dropping the camera....

heavy throttle...4000' elevation change and a 4.6 gallon tank means this happens a lot....

taking pics over your shoulder while riding in the dirt makes for shitty pics...

Well...no pics of the next 3 hours riding in the dark.... ....wish I had a pic of that cow that I missed by 12 feet....

but the next morning started off at lower elevations and nicer temps....

glad you made it back to civilization safely....looks like you had a great time....now..is your ass sore from riding or did you happen to find brokeback mountain on your journey?:dontknow:

yeah...I knew that was coming........there is just no way to ride a fun bike for 20 hours without some....ummm...discomfort... ...did wear mountain bike shorts under the pants...helped some.... .....gonna sleep on my stomach tonight...
